It's time for the next episode...

1.6 years equivalent to 603 days or 14,472 hrs it has been since I became a part of Flipkart. This number doesn't feel apt though. There were times like Big Billion Days when few days would feel like weeks and some other times when weeks would pass feeling that it was just days. Monthly planning for the coming month would start when you'd feel that you had just wrapped up the previous one. I guess now I can ascertain the relativeness of time as to why 1 min of microwave clock feels way too long compared to 1 min of the alarm's snooze button. But however long or short my time here has been, it has left an everlasting memory.

Being a fresh graduate from college and in his first job, I can objectively say that Flipkart is the best place to start your career. Working here gave me the perspective of how a big company is like a machine. It has gears of multiple shapes and sizes and for the machine to work, all the gears, no matter how big or small, must move together. I now understand the bigger picture and how important each role is and how they come together to make this magic happen. The work environment, the exposure, the scope, and the quality of work here are fascinating, but it is zeal of the people here which is most inspiring. I hope I'll get to work with more such people in my future.

When I joined Flipkart just after college, I'd keep thinking about by my pals and time from college. The weird thing is now I'm exactly where I want to be. I'm going back to college for my further studies, and I'm still just thinking about my old pals. Only now they're the ones I made here. I wish there was a way to know you're in "the good old days" before you've left them.

I'm falling short of words to express my gratitude towards you. Let me fall back to the two beautiful words: "Thank you." Thank you for the lively discussions, enlightening debates, and rigorous outlook. Thank you for those numerous late nights, those fun football sessions and those flexible work hours. Thank you for the critique, the challenge, the perspective, the vision, the approach, and the opportunity. These have shaped me into a better person and I am immensely grateful for that. To the BooksMedia and Lifestyle team that I had my journey with: you have made it difficult for me to move on. Thank you for making me feel that.
